Plant Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Direct and coordinate the facility Management Team across Safety, Production, Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Finance, and HR.
• Maximize facility output safely and cost-effectively while monitoring cost, downtime, waste, production planning, and preventive maintenance.
• Lead plant strategy, operational goals, standardization, process optimization, and problem resolution.
• Provide oversight of capital projects and technical and administrative support for the facility.
• Lead, support, and develop management staff while addressing employee issues and monitoring performance against plan.
• Coordinate with Technology, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to support plant operations and customer needs.

Requirements

• Experience using statistical tools and methodologies, quality methods, computers, and basic financial principles.
• Experience leading continuous improvement through statistical methods.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and S&OP processes.
• Experience recruiting, leading, and developing teams, with the ability to communicate, influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts at all organizational levels.
• Proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher, and advanced Excel.
• Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage change; physical work may include lifting up to 50 lbs., extended standing, and walking.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of industrial experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership position.
