Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite. Relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $29.00–$50.50 per hour.

What you will do

  • Perform routine medical physics services under the direction of a qualified Medical Physicist.
  • Conduct photon and proton treatment machine QA, imaging system QA, and patient-specific QA.
  • Collect, process, and maintain treatment-related data.
  • Maintain medical physics equipment and organize radiation physics, calibration, and QA documentation.
  • Assist with radiation safety protocols and departmental quality improvement and quality control programs.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance and support departmental and institutional goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical physics is preferred.
  • Two or more years of relevant experience are preferred.
  • Experience with routine quality assurance or physics services involving photon or proton therapy equipment is highly desirable.
  • Direct proton therapy experience is preferred.
