Medical Physicist (MS or PhD) - Dallas, TX

Location: Dallas, Texas; primarily based at the Medical City location. Full-time on-site role with occasional on-site or remote support for other regional sites.

What you will do

• Provide clinical medical physics support for radiation oncology centers.
• Support SRS, SBRT, HDR, TBI, 3D, IMRT, VMAT, radiopharmaceutical, and CyberKnife programs.
• Specify and access dosimetric, treatment planning, calibration, and monitoring equipment.
• Advise physicians and provide technical direction for treatment planning and delivery.
• Ensure the safety of patients and staff and support precise radiation treatment delivery.
• Participate in clinical, research, educational, committee, and regional collaboration activities.

Requirements

• MS or PhD in Medical Physics from a CAMPEP-accredited graduate program.
• Graduation from a CAMPEP-accredited Medical Physics residency program.
• ABR board certification or active progress toward certification.
• Texas state licensure and eligibility for a RAM license.
• Working knowledge of SRS, SBRT, and HDR.
• Experience with Varian linear accelerators, Accuray CyberKnife planning, treatment and QA, Eclipse, HDR planning and treatment, and ARIA.
