Global Patient Activation Director (AI)

Location: Cambridge, MA; hybrid. US and Puerto Rico residents only.

Salary: $178,500–$257,833 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the global patient activation strategy for the Rare Diseases portfolio.
• Implement a care pathway optimization model focused on systemic mastocytosis.
• Design and scale engagement programs that accelerate diagnosis, improve referrals, and support treatment access.
• Define global priorities, coordinate execution, and establish KPIs and metrics for program impact.
• Develop AI and agentic engagement initiatives using data-driven insights and digital health technologies.
• Ensure patient engagement programs meet regulatory, ethical, and industry requirements while managing budgets and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, public health, business, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• 3+ years of consulting experience related to AI adoption.
• Experience building and scaling patient programs, preferably in rare diseases or systemic mastocytosis.
• Global experience, strategic planning skills, and experience managing remote or global teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

Nice to have

• MBA, MPH, or another advanced degree.
• Rare disease or systemic mastocytosis experience.
• Experience addressing diagnostic challenges and applying innovative patient engagement approaches.
