Senior Analyst, Field Compensation (Finance)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota; employees work in the office at least four days per week and may work from home one day per week.

Base salary: $71,300–$98,100 per year, with potential variable compensation through bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation, administration, and ongoing development of advisor compensation and recognition programs.
• Perform financial analysis, evaluate program effectiveness, identify process improvements, and enhance analytical tools.
• Analyze compensation requests, reports, and key metrics to provide decision support for advisors, field leaders, and senior leaders.
• Summarize findings and create presentations to support strategic decisions and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Lead and participate in compensation projects and cross-organizational initiatives.
• Collaborate with business groups, Service & Operations, Technology, Compliance, Corporate Communications, and other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of professional experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proven Excel skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate complex program requirements to people with varying levels of understanding.
• Valid U.S. work authorization without current or future visa sponsorship requirements.

Nice to have

• Degree and work experience in finance.
• Knowledge of or experience with Ameriprise advisor platforms.
