Senior Investment Operations Analyst (Finance)

Location: Remote

Salary: $66,500–$92,000 per year, commensurate with experience and location.

What you will do

• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for investment analysis and reporting.
• Prepare daily, weekly, executive, Board, rating agency, and regulatory investment reports.
• Analyze fixed income, equity, and derivative data, including trades and unrealized gain/loss positions.
• Integrate third-party data sources such as Bloomberg and Bloomberg API into reporting workflows.
• Improve and automate processes, including the appropriate use of AI tools under company governance requirements.
• Support portfolio operations and manage collateral for the Federal Home Loan Bank spread investment program and state-required deposits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience; insurance investment or middle-office experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, aggregation formulas, PivotTables, chart and table construction, and reconciliation of large datasets.
• Strong PowerPoint, data visualization, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple teams, manage competing priorities, solve complex problems independently, and meet deadlines.

Nice to have

• Bloomberg and Bloomberg API experience.
• Insurance investment or middle-office experience.
