Salary range: $137,036.35–$161,548.00 per year.

What you will do
- Design and analyze DC/DC power converters, filters, control circuitry, and related high-reliability hardware.
- Model and simulate circuit and system performance using analytical tools.
- Develop radiation-tolerant or radiation-hardened discrete analog circuitry for spaceflight applications.
- Integrate, test, and develop DC power conversion hardware from prototype through product delivery.
- Translate customer and market specifications into design requirements and prepare technical documentation.
- Act as a technical interface for customers, support technical meetings, and potentially lead engineering teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in microelectronic DC/DC power conversion and control system design.
- Experience with radiation effects on components and circuits and high-reliability hardware development.
- Knowledge of complex DC/DC topologies, discrete analog circuit design, power electronics, temperature compensation, radiation-tolerant components, magnetic design, and planar magnetics.
- Experience with analog modeling tools such as Symetrix, SIMPLIS, Ansys Maxwell, Mathcad, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; a master’s degree or PhD is preferred.
- Strong documentation, organization, time management, teamwork, mentoring, and complex project leadership skills.
