Director of Manufacturing Product-Test Engineering (FPGA/ATE)

Location: Penang, Malaysia. The role requires satisfactory proof of the right to work in Malaysia.

What you will do

• Lead a team of engineers and leads supporting product sustaining activities and volume ramps.
• Manage OSAT test engineering activities across Malaysia, Taiwan, and Korea, building partner relationships and improving delivery against quarterly targets.
• Address test engineering issues and expand or migrate test capacity across OSAT facilities.
• Own product cost roadmaps and test capacity expansion for high-volume products.
• Release test programs, support production ramps, and resolve test escapes and yield excursions.
• Optimize test time and test flows while maintaining product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of related experience, or master’s degree with 12+ years of related experience.
• Strong FPGA, ATE, manufacturing leadership, analytical, communication, process-control, and quality-control skills.
• Experience with OSAT systems and processes, production support, and project management.
• Experience with Advantest T2000/T2K and Teradyne UltraFlex/UFLEX testers or equivalent.
• Knowledge of loadboard and probe-card design, socket selection, handler integration, extreme-temperature testing, and ATE characterization.
• Experience with test program methodologies, tester and handler maintenance, test setup procedures, Leadscan, and test back-end operations.
