Staff Engineer, Product & Test Engineer (Power Semiconductors): Developing and improving product and test processes for power discrete and power management semiconductor products with an accent on product qualification, test programming, yield optimization, and quality control. Focus on transferring new products, reducing test time, applying statistical test methods, and driving corrective actions across production assembly and test operations.

Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia; onsite at the manufacturing and test engineering site

What you will do

  • Monitor product health across hirify.global production assembly and subcontracted testing operations.
  • Drive improvements in quality, yield, hold lot rate, and disposition cycle time.
  • Support product transfers and new product introductions from definition and development through characterization, qualification, and release.
  • Set up, qualify, and implement new test processes, parameters, and procedures.
  • Generate test programs for multiple test platforms and reduce test program execution time.
  • Define statistical test methods, verify customer complaints, and review corrective actions for effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on product or test engineering experience with power discrete and/or power management IC products.
  • Experience with MOSFET product test methodology and programming is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel overseas when requested and work onsite in Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia.
