Line Lead - Rack (Manufacturing)

Location: Piedmont, South Carolina, United States; onsite, first shift

What you will do

• Provide direction to a designated rack assembly team and maintain a safe work area.
• Model safe behaviors, coach team members, and report near misses, first aid cases, injuries, and other safety concerns.
• Monitor line quality, address issues in real time, and follow up with internal customers.
• Manage productivity, verify materials, inspect work, adjust the pace of the line, and recognize successful performance.
• Perform welding and grinding tasks alongside the team for approximately 20% of the workday.
• Communicate material, design, quality, production, and safety issues to the Supervisor.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to arrive 30 minutes before the shift and remain punctual for breaks and lunch.
