Production Team Leader (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate production scheduling and daily activities to meet master schedule and inventory requirements.
• Plan, assign, and direct production resources across assigned production lines.
• Perform production operations as needed, approximately 40% of the time.
• Resolve daily production issues and act as a liaison between production employees and the area supervisor.
• Monitor print specifications, quality standards, efficiency trends, safe work practices, and housekeeping.
• Identify process improvements, support the quality system, coordinate training, and provide input on hiring, performance reviews, corrective action, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least three months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure and interpret prints, dimensions, and specifications.
• Ability to complete required paperwork and use computer systems to identify component locations.
• Forklift license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, handle materials, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; PPE is required.
