Materials Team Lead (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Coordinate production scheduling and daily activities to meet master schedules and inventory requirements.
• Plan, assign, and direct production resources across assigned production lines.
• Provide daily work direction, assist production employees, and act as a liaison with the area supervisor.
• Perform regular operational audits and track quality and efficiency trends.
• Support safe production practices, housekeeping, employee training, interviewing, performance reviews, corrective action, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of related experience and/or training.
• Welding certification and forklift license.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, production capacities, company products and components, and production and inventory control procedures.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work in a loud production environment while using required PPE.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
