Assembly Lead

Location: Plover, Wisconsin, United States. Onsite, first shift Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

Salary: $38,376–$45,843.20 per year. The hourly pay range is $18.45–$22.04.

What you will do

• Lead assembly workers and temporary employees according to work instructions and procedures.
• Train employees, monitor schedules and breaks, and promote effective teamwork.
• Perform quality inspections, report issues, and maintain required production paperwork.
• Operate shrink-wrap, bag-sealing, labeling, and related packaging equipment.
• Label, pack, stack, fold, tape, and insert products while meeting production targets.
• Operate a pallet jack, follow safety procedures, and help maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

Requirements

• Ability to lead others with a positive attitude and communicate clearly with employees, contract workers, customers, and coworkers.
• Organized, detail-oriented, production-, quality-, and process-focused approach.
• Ability to read and follow written and oral instructions, perform basic math, solve problems, and use basic computer systems.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in warehouse pick/pack fulfillment and distribution.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch, and handle cartons weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally and 40 pounds continuously.
• Must be able to work onsite in Plover and work overtime or weekends when required.
