Lead Production Associate (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead a group of associates involved in production and assembly line operations.
• Determine schedules, distribute work, route trucks, and communicate procedures.
• Expedite delayed operations and adjust schedules to address unforeseen conditions.
• Interpret machine logs, collect data, set up new machines for testing, and troubleshoot machine failures.
• Resolve production, machinery, processing, and packaging issues while maintaining tools and calibrating equipment.
• Maintain quality control and ensure safety standards are followed by the work group.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass applicable pre-employment assessments.
• Generally, 5–7 years of experience in a related area of responsibility.
• Ability to work around moving machinery, loud noises, fumes, and temperature extremes.
• Ability to perform physical work including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering materials or equipment weighing 50+ pounds.

Nice to have

• Extensive knowledge of different types of machinery.
• Two-year technical degree in electronics or electrical design.
• Technical certification or associate degree, where required for the relevant area.
