Systems Integration Engineer - F-15 (Aerospace)

Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio, United States. Onsite full-time role with 20% travel.

What you will do

• Review, develop, and update systems integration, airworthiness, safety, and program documentation.
• Support airworthiness certification activities, including compliance packages, airworthiness risk assessments, review boards, Military Flight Release, and Military Type Certificate efforts.
• Assess technical proposals, system modifications, design feasibility, system compatibility, performance, lifecycle costs, maintainability, reliability, and technical risks.
• Develop and manage reliability and maintainability processes aligned with acquisition, sustainment, disposal, and program milestone requirements.
• Analyze Built-in Test failure reports, reliability databases, deficiency reports, and field failure data.
• Lead or support system safety activities, hazard tracking, risk acceptance packages, technical reviews, mishap investigations, and safety working groups.

Requirements

• ABET-accredited engineering degree.
• 10 years of experience in the relevant technical or professional discipline, including 5 years in the Department of Defense.
• Secret security clearance.
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E and related USAF system safety requirements.
• Experience with systems engineering, airworthiness, hazard analysis, risk assessment, reliability, maintainability, and safety compliance.

Nice to have

• Previous aircraft systems engineering or platform experience.
