Senior Project Manager, Public Sector (AI)

Location: Onsite at the headquarters in Overland Park, Kansas, United States; up to 30% travel required.

What you will do

• Lead large-scale, complex public sector projects and enterprise software implementations.
• Manage changes to program scope, schedules, and costs while maintaining alignment with organizational goals.
• Build executive-level client relationships and govern multiple interconnected projects.
• Direct project portfolio financial performance through forecasting, variance analysis, and corrective actions.
• Establish governance frameworks, risk strategies, communication plans, executive reporting, and issue resolution processes.
• Identify strategic business opportunities and champion AI and automation solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• At least 7 years of project management experience.
• PMP or similar project management certification.
• At least 2 years of people leadership experience.
• Strong decision-making, stakeholder influence, and executive communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; visa sponsorship is not provided.
