Project Manager III

TL;DR

Project Manager III (SaaS): Manage project scope, time, and costs while delivering solution deployments for multiple customers with an accent on command-and-control delivery, stakeholder communications, and customer-experience ownership. Focus on setting scope/timelines/deliverables, identifying and responding to project and customer risks, and supporting implementation approaches and SOW creation.

Location: Chicago, IL (On-site)

Salary: $105,000 - $120,000

What you will do

• Set scope, timeline, and deliverables to ensure successful deployments for multiple customers.
• Organize and manage a portfolio of projects, adjusting responsibilities based on each project’s complexity, size, and scope.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project implementation activity and establish project command and control internally and externally.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather documentation and required resources to set and manage expectations with stakeholders.
• Support solution development by delivering successful deployments and maintaining seamless customer experience and satisfaction.
• Identify early signs of project/customer risks and develop risk response strategies; occasionally travel to customer sites for training and relationship building.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of project management (or related) experience in a SaaS environment.
• Strong aptitude for technology tools and solutions, including Professional Services and CRM tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, system perspective, and process analysis skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing products and respond strategically to customer needs.
• Experience managing project scope, time, and costs, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
