Market General Manager II (Automotive)

Location: US-PA-Hummelstown; onsite distributorship and warehouse operations

What you will do

• Manage the company-owned distributorship and its P&L, budget, annual operating plan, accounts receivable, and financial performance.
• Lead local sales activity, acquire new dealers, grow the customer base, maintain key-account relationships, and address customer complaints.
• Manage inventory flow and warehouse accuracy while minimizing unit waste across a distributorship handling more than 100,000 units annually.
• Lead direct reports through hiring, performance reviews, coaching, recognition, progressive discipline, and regular team meetings.
• Improve routing, productivity, reporting integrity, fleet maintenance, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with IOT procedures, OSHA and DOT requirements, safety programs, and service-level agreements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of managerial experience with a record of producing positive results.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal awareness, organization, responsiveness, initiative, and results orientation.
• Ability to manage team performance through clear goals, expectations, feedback, and timely issue resolution.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a battery warehouse environment, operate a motor vehicle, and occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, with regular in-person operational and physical duties.

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
