Automotive Service Manager

What you will do

• Oversee the service department, including technicians, service advisors, the service call center, valet, detailers, and the service lane.
• Forecast department goals and objectives, manage the annual operating budget, and work to achieve performance targets.
• Coordinate with the Parts Manager and shop foreman to ensure timely parts availability and properly completed vehicle service.
• Lead department and manager meetings and communicate required maintenance and service work to customers.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain service quality, integrity, and operational standards.
• Motivate, train, develop, and reward employees.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Writer or Service Assistant Manager.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Automotive Service Manager.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
• Experience with ADP or other automotive software and experience as a technician or strong technical aptitude.
• Ability to manage work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.
