Design Engineer (Plastic Packaging): Developing commercially viable, tooling-ready plastic packaging designs from concept through production with an accent on CAD modeling, manufacturability, and customer requirements. Focus on robust Creo models, plastic injection molding and tooling design, ISO-controlled product development, and collaboration with project engineers, customers, and tooling vendors.

What you will do
- Identify customer needs and translate them into accurate, cost-effective, tooling-ready designs.
- Develop commercially viable product designs using CAD and related resources.
- Collaborate with project engineers, customers, and tooling vendors from concept through production.
- Create robust models that support multiple design changes.
- Maintain compliance with ISO quality procedures and provide technical customer support.
Requirements
- Creo Parametric professional certification or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and 4 years of applicable Creo (ProE) experience.
- Experience with product development in an ISO-controlled environment.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding, tooling, tooling design, and manufacturing technologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel up to 5% domestically and internationally and obtain a passport.
Nice to have
- Associate degree in Mechanical Design Technology.
- Experience with plastic processes and materials, Windchill or other PDM software.
- Experience with SolidWorks, SpaceClaim, KeyShot, AutoCAD, or FEA simulation using ANSYS, Creo, or SolidWorks.
