Entry-Level Project Safety Coordinator

Location: Charlotte, NC; onsite construction site work required

What you will do

• Assist with project-specific safety plans and company safety programs.
• Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and observations under senior safety staff guidance.
• Support Job Hazard Analyses, toolbox talks, orientation training, and daily safety activities.
• Maintain safety documentation, training records, and inspection reports.
• Assist with incident, near-miss, and accident investigations, including follow-up actions.
• Engage field crews, supervisors, subcontractors, and project leadership to promote safe work practices.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of construction safety, internship, or related field experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Safety & Health, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and willingness to continue learning regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and perform physical activities including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and working outdoors.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification, or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
