Senior Safety Coordinator (Construction)

Location: Dallas, United States; onsite construction jobsite work required

What you will do

• Lead project safety activities and provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project staff.
• Coordinate safety responsibilities with project teams, subcontractor representatives, and foremen.
• Develop and maintain safety programs, including Beck’s Zero Accident Plan and regular safety meetings.
• Conduct jobsite inspections, investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Deliver safety orientations and training for employees and trade partners.
• Maintain incident, inspection, training, and subcontractor compliance documentation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant construction safety experience with increasing responsibility and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal construction safety regulations, including OSHA 29 CFR 1926 standards.
• OSHA 500 certification.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage comprehensive safety documentation.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, move around uneven jobsites, climb ladders and stairs, and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• College degree in a related field is desired, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Excel, Synchro, Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, or Revit.
