Commercial Lines Senior Account Executive

Location: Rancho Cordova, CA or Woodland Hills, CA; frequent in-person attendance at client and underwriter meetings is required.

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Manage 10–20 large and complex Commercial Lines accounts as the primary day-to-day client contact.
• Market and place new and renewal Commercial Lines insurance programs, including preparing applications and selecting appropriate carriers.
• Analyze carrier quotes and coverage options, make program recommendations, and negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients.
• Manage renewal expirations, process policies, endorsements, and audits, and help prevent coverage lapses.
• Provide technical guidance to clients, Account Representatives, Account Managers, and Sales Executives.
• Support cross-selling, account development, internal account strategy meetings, and regular carrier interactions.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in a Commercial Lines agency; a college degree is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Must hold a Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Strong communication, negotiation, accuracy, and client-service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal instruction.
• Comfort with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office; Sagitta/ImageRight knowledge is preferred.

Nice to have

• Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, or CPCU.
• Knowledge of Sagitta or ImageRight.
