What you will do

  • Maintain facility infrastructure and manufacturing equipment across mechanical, electrical, electronic, vacuum, pneumatic, hydraulic, and F-Gas systems.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, and equipment installations to minimize production downtime.
  • Support health, safety, quality, and cleanliness standards, including Permit to Work procedures and cleanroom requirements.
  • Evaluate machine and maintenance performance and drive continual improvements.
  • Maintain accurate and complete maintenance records while providing professional technical support to all departments.

Requirements

  • Completed time-served engineering apprenticeship and Level 3 or 4 accreditation in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
  • Essential practical maintenance experience in a maintenance environment.
  • Fluent English and a valid UK passport or work permit; applicants must not require current or future sponsorship.
  • Valid full UK driving licence to support travel when required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice to have

  • Experience with vacuum systems, electron beam or laser welders, and PLCs.
  • Experience in a controlled or cleanroom production environment.
