Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Location: Thetford, Norfolk, United Kingdom; on-site rotating shifts Monday–Sunday, 06:00–18:00 or 18:00–06:00

Salary: Starting at £55,166.49 per annum, plus overtime at premium rates

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment across the site.
• Support new installations and engineering projects.
• Raise corrective and reactive maintenance dockets in Maximo.
• Review planned and preventative maintenance procedures and recommend improvements.
• Identify site-wide improvement opportunities and escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Deliver maintenance activities in line with GMP standards.

Requirements

• HNC or equivalent qualification in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Strong competence in electrical and mechanical fault finding, schematics, wiring, and circuitry.
• Experience with automation and robotics, plus knowledge of electrical safety, CCT, and controllers.
• Good mechanical engineering knowledge, including pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
