Manufacturing Mechatronic Technician

Location: Antrim, United Kingdom. Onsite, full-time position. Permanent right to work in Northern Ireland is required.

What you will do

• Maintain high-volume automated production equipment and machinery.
• Find and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults.
• Perform planned and preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Complete machine and production setups and changeovers.
• Support continuous improvements to automated equipment and machinery.
• Maintain technical documents, records, and reports.

Requirements

• Time-served apprenticeship qualified to at least HNC in Electrical & Electronic or Manufacturing Engineering, or a Level 4 NVQ/HNC qualification.
• At least two years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Technical experience maintaining and fault-finding electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical drives, conveyor systems, electro-pneumatics, electrical control systems, and PLCs.
• Permanent right to work in Northern Ireland is required.
• Successful candidates must complete a medical examination, including a drugs test.

Nice to have

• Experience with automated production equipment and robotic control.
• Knowledge of camera scanning and camera imaging systems.
• Strong mechanical awareness and interest in PLC systems.
