Maintenance Operations Coordinator (Maintenance Planning)

What you will do

• Plan and schedule maintenance work in alignment with site safety procedures, permitting requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Review, validate, prioritize, and maintain incoming maintenance work requests and backlog data.
• Develop weekly and daily schedules using approved work orders that meet material, scope, permit, and job-plan requirements.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, contractors, and other stakeholders to align equipment availability, resources, priorities, and schedule changes.
• Monitor schedule execution, update work order status in CMMS/EAM systems, and track schedule adherence and delays.
• Support maintenance reporting, contractor-work tracking, data accuracy, and continuous improvement of work management processes.

Requirements

• Experience in maintenance, planning, scheduling, or operations within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of maintenance work management processes.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or Infor.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities across functions.
• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation disciplines is preferred.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance, reliability concepts, and team-based maintenance or operations environments is preferred.
