TL;DR
Training Specialist III (Nuclear): Designing and delivering advanced training for nuclear-sector contracts and supply chain procedures with an accent on instructional design, regulatory compliance, and procedural transformation. Focus on leading workshops, analyzing FAR and DEAR requirements, developing SOPs and process maps, and improving training effectiveness across a large operational workforce.

Location: Hybrid, on/off client site and virtual, in or near Aiken, South Carolina, across the Southeastern United States. The role may require onsite badging at the client site. U.S. citizenship is required.

What you will do

  • Design advanced training modules, lead workshops, deliver training, and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Lead training delivery and optimization supporting Contracts & Supply Chain Management procedural transformation.
  • Analyze contracts and regulations and develop standard operating procedures, process maps, templates, and acquisition lifecycle flowcharts.
  • Support implementation, change management, workforce enablement, and operational transition.
  • Monitor performance, maintain procedural compliance, and drive continuous training improvement.
  • Engage stakeholders and support a five-year nuclear and environmental management engagement serving approximately 360 personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; relevant certifications are preferred.
  • 7–10+ years of experience required; Department of Energy experience is preferred.
  • Experience in nuclear and environmental management, contracts and supply chain management, procurement, or related consulting.
  • Instructional design, analytics, facilitation, technical writing, regulatory analysis, and procurement lifecycle expertise.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, time management, adaptability, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Must be a United States citizen; visa sponsorship, including H-1B and TN sponsorship, is not available.

Nice to have

  • Department of Energy experience.
  • Professional certifications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, or Visio.
  • Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one.
