TL;DR
Mgr., Process Engineering (Vehicle Manufacturing and Lean Operations): Leading process engineering across supply chain operations at a vehicle processing center with an accent on continuous improvement, production process control, and team development. Focus on optimizing high-volume accessory launches, analyzing operational performance, and implementing lean and Six Sigma improvements.

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; onsite role with regular movement around the office and corporate campus. Up to 10% domestic travel is required.

What you will do

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Process Engineering team, including staffing, performance management, training, and conflict resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the vehicle processing center to improve efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
  • Develop, maintain, and control production processes, work instructions, process standards, facility planning documentation, and vehicle flow documentation.
  • Analyze process improvement data and present recommendations to the Senior Process Engineering Manager.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize new accessory launches for high-volume manufacturing.
  • Train associates on continuous improvement principles and sponsor process improvement teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of operations experience, including operations analysis, auditing, team leadership, project management, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • 4–6 years of experience supervising exempt-level associates is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement, process development, process control, quality assurance, quality control, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodology.
  • Valid in-state driver’s license required upon hire.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.
