Production Group Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Buffalo, West Virginia, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Availability is required for one of three evening or overnight shifts, plus overtime including occasional weekends and holidays. Travel of up to 10% is required.

What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and develop production team members and team leaders to meet daily production and quality targets.
• Manage production schedules, resources, floor activities, morale, and the Floor Development Management System.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and perform Standardized Work audits.
• Judge quality defects, coordinate containment activities, and implement countermeasures.
• Train team members through On the Job Development and resolve conflicts and performance issues.
• Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams and present data-driven problem-solving work to leadership.

Requirements

• 2-year college degree or equivalent experience in leadership, business, manufacturing, engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Problem-solving, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and team-development skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite products, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Availability for the specified evening or overnight shifts and overtime, including occasional weekends and holidays.
• Must have the right to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa or work authorization sponsorship.

Nice to have

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Leadership and production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with production processes, quality control, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Lean Six Sigma certification.
