Location: Selma, Texas, United States. The role is based in a manufacturing environment and requires up to 10% domestic and international travel. U.S. Person status is required for authorized access to ITAR-controlled data.

What you will do
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation to reduce cost, waste, cycle time, and process variation while improving safety and product quality.
- Analyze manufacturing data and performance metrics, including cycle time, yield, scrap rate, and OEE, using statistical analysis, process capability studies, and SPC.
- Design and implement process optimization strategies, control measures, equipment layouts, mechanical piping drawings, electrical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Develop and manage capital projects, including equipment procurement and coordination with supply chain, engineering, production, and quality teams.
- Lead process validation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive measures, and technical troubleshooting for process-related issues.
- Develop SOPs and work instructions, train production teams, and provide guidance on new processes, procedures, and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of process optimization, automation, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, process modeling, statistical analysis, and simulation software.
- Experience implementing control methodology on PLC and HMI platforms, and the ability to read, interpret, and draft control-system and electrical-wiring schematics.
- Working knowledge of CAD design requirements, mechanical design, electrical engineering codes and standards, process safety, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- U.S. Person status is required under applicable ITAR regulations. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% is required.
