Field Applications Engineer (FPGA)

Location: San Jose, California; responsibility for customers in the Bay Area or Seattle area. Some travel to customer locations and onsite design-review visits are required.

Base pay range: 0 USD, plus possible variable or incentive compensation and/or equity.

What you will do

• Identify and develop new opportunities within customer accounts.
• Present Lattice products and demonstrate product capabilities through benchmarks.
• Provide technical support for Lattice silicon products, development tools, IP, and solution stacks.
• Guide customer design-win strategies and assist throughout the product development cycle.
• Visit customer sites to review designs, investigate problems, and recommend innovative solutions.
• Manage customer relationships and provide feedback to sales, factory experts, and internal product teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with FPGA and/or ASIC design using Verilog or VHDL and simulation or verification tools.
• Experience with Lattice Radiant and Diamond or other FPGA vendor development tools.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple groups and projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science; an MS or PhD is also relevant.
• Successful background and reference checks and proof of the right to work in the United States are required.
