Associate Hardware Engineer (Electrical Engineering)

What you will do

• Analyze designs and develop basic analog and digital circuits under the direction of an experienced engineer.
• Conduct hardware design reviews to assess product and circuit robustness.
• Assist with developing hardware specifications.
• Write test plans, execute tests, and document results for design reviews and project notebooks.
• Provide work estimates to support project planning and apply established engineering and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of analog, digital, or power supply circuit design, analysis, and simulation.
• Experience with microprocessor and FPGA system design, including VHDL or Verilog, simulation, timing analysis, and synthesis.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, fiber optic communications, electromagnetic compatibility, and standards compliance.
• Hands-on prototyping or PCB layout experience.
• Basic understanding of project management processes and procedures.
