Field Applications Engineer (FPGA)

Location: Maryland, United States (Remote)

Salary: $134.8K–$195.1K USD annually, plus incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Drive adoption of FPGA-based solutions at key customer accounts and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Engineers, FAEs, Factory Applications Engineers, Product Marketing, and Business Development.
• Support customers with architecture definition, solution evaluation, product requirements, FPGA and IP design, and development tools.
• Deliver product demonstrations and participate in on-site customer visits for product design and reviews.
• Analyze data, reproduce errors, resolve or escalate technical issues, and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Provide product and market feedback to manufacturing and product teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a hardware engineer.
• Experience with FPGA, ASIC, and/or digital design.
• Experience with FPGA development tools such as Quartus or Vivado.
• Experience with VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, OpenCL, or high-level synthesis tools.
• BSEE or a related electrical or electronic engineering degree.
• Applicants must be eligible for required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• Post-bachelor's degree.
• Experience in technical sales, applications, technical marketing, or technical product marketing.
• Experience with embedded SoC, ASIC, ASSP, CPU, microcontroller, ARM-based processor, board-level, DSP, or signal-integrity design.
