Customer Specialist (Automotive Retail)

Hourly rate: $17.20–$25.80

What you will do

• Guide customers through vehicle sales, appraisals, test drives, financing applications, and service appointments.
• Assess vehicle condition, document appraisal details, and communicate findings to Buyers.
• Manage vehicle check-in, daily scanning, inventory reconciliation, and cosmetic inspections.
• Process transaction paperwork, print reports, audit documents, and manage payments.
• Review repair order invoices for billing accuracy and collaborate across teams.
• Follow Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Strong communication, customer relationship-building, integrity, respect, and teamwork.
• Ability to balance customer needs with business goals, follow processes accurately, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and accurately read and transcribe data.

Nice to have

• Sales or customer service experience in retail or a similar environment.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Full-time employment with paid sick, vacation, and holiday time, subject to applicable conditions.
• Eligible full-time hourly or commission/incentive associates can accrue up to 48 hours of sick time per year.
• Eligible associates can receive 80–200 hours of vacation time per year after a 90-day waiting period, depending on continuous service.
