What you will do
- Lead end-to-end financial planning for sales, margin, inventory, and profitability across multiple business units.
- Develop annual budgets, top-down and bottom-up plans, and monthly forecasts against corporate sales and inventory targets.
- Partner with Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, Buying, and Finance leaders on commercial strategies, revenue targets, and inventory investments.
- Lead Open-to-Buy, assortment planning, inventory flow, markdown optimization, and demand forecasting across channels and categories.
- Implement cross-channel inventory optimization and liquidation strategies, including Friends and Family sales for stock liquidation.
- Present monthly business reviews covering sales, margin, inventory performance, and related risks and costs.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Planning, Merchandise Planning, Business Analytics, Finance, or Inventory Management within retail, luxury, fashion, or consumer goods.
- Leadership experience managing planning teams across multiple markets and channels.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, inventory management, Open-to-Buy, and demand planning.
- Experience supporting Retail, E-commerce, Outlet, and Wholesale models in an international environment.
- Fluent English is essential; fluent Italian is desirable. Advanced Excel and planning systems proficiency is required; MicroStrategy and SAP knowledge is a plus.
