Real Estate | Expansion Controller (Retail)

Location: Hybrid position based at the Support Office in Milan, Italy

Salary: Gross annual salary starting from €50,000

What you will do

• Establish and implement controlling routines, strategies, and reporting processes for the sales market.
• Maintain accurate project pipeline and portfolio data, including project status, opening and closure dates, and investment plans.
• Own budgeting and forecasting for Leasing and Construction & Facilities.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for project investments and expansion operating costs.
• Analyze expansion KPIs such as ROI, rent levels, sales productivity, net investments, and operating costs.
• Prepare business cases, support expansion audits, and provide recommendations to expansion stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related real estate field.
• At least 3 years of experience in auditing, accounting, controlling, or finance; retail or real estate experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling processes.
• Experience preparing and presenting financial reports, business cases, and performance insights to senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, analytical, structured, and detail-oriented skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and strong written and spoken English.
