Physician Assistant, PRN

Location: Providence, Rhode Island, United States; clinic-based role with in-person and virtual visits. Health center hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Compensation: $77.00–$80.00 per hour, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

What you will do

• Provide primary care through comprehensive in-person and virtual patient visits.
• Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and develop personalized health plans.
• Perform DOT physicals, work-related injury evaluations, return-to-work assessments, and regulatory medical examinations.
• Support prevention, wellness education, lifestyle management, chronic disease care, and long-term health.
• Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and other clinicians in a team-oriented clinic.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the practicing state.
• Current NRCME certification is required.
• Current NCCPA certification and DEA registration.
• Previous occupational health experience is required, including DOT physicals, occupational injury management, and return-to-work evaluations.
• Experience treating patients aged 2 and older, familiarity with HIPAA, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
• Ability to pass on-site credentialing.

• Two or more years of primary care experience.
