Medical Assistant - Acute Care Clinic - Part Time - Foundation Medical Partners (Healthcare)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Part-time onsite role involving in-person patient care; Monday, Thursday, and Friday shifts totaling 20 hours per week.

What you will do

• Provide supervised clinical and administrative support for patients in person, by telephone, and through telehealth.
• Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations and perform point-of-care testing.
• Collect patient histories and health information, communicate findings to providers, and relay care plans to patients.
• Document procedures, interventions, and communications in electronic medical records.
• Support pre-visit preparation, patient outreach, scheduling, and medical records tasks.
• Mentor new staff, follow safety and infection-control procedures, maintain HIPAA compliance, and complete ongoing education.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or three years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a patient-facing role; one year in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, office workflow, EMR systems, and Windows-based applications.
• Strong communication, time management, interpersonal, multitasking, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
