Collaborative Physician

Location: Health Center in Riverwoods, Illinois, United States

Salary: $1,350–$1,500 per month

What you will do

• Supervise an Advanced Practice Provider delivering patient care to client employees and their dependents.
• Conduct periodic quality reviews of patient charts in accordance with state regulations and internal procedures.
• Remain available to NP/PA providers by phone, pager, or in person for clinical consultations.
• Execute and periodically renew collaborative agreements with NP/PA providers.
• Provide performance feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct site visits when required by applicable state regulations.

Requirements

• MD or DO with an unrestricted license in the state where providers perform assessments.
• Board certification in an appropriate primary care specialty.
• Prior collaborative experience in an occupational medicine setting.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating human injuries and diseases, treatment alternatives, drug interactions, and preventive healthcare.
• Ability to evaluate treatment options and communicate effectively in writing.
