Advanced Practice Practitioner (Part-time)

Location: Thornton, Colorado; hospital rounding at North Suburban and St. Anthony North

Salary: $55.00–$67.00 per hour

What you will do

• Round at North Suburban and St. Anthony North hospitals.
• Perform patient examinations and clinical evaluations.
• Manage clinical care and order and review diagnostic studies.
• Order and monitor medications.
• Participate in short-term and long-term patient care planning with physicians.

Requirements

• For Nurse Practitioners: an MSN from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
• For Physician Assistants: successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current NCCPA certification.
• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; Nurse Practitioners must also hold RN licensure and current State Board of Nursing registration.
• At least one year of relevant clinical experience; Nurse Practitioners typically need 3–5 years in inpatient or ambulatory oncology, while Physician Assistants need experience in critical care, internal medicine, or oncology.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Ability to perform patient handling and lifting, assist with mobility, and stand and walk for extended periods.

• AOCNP certification.
