Salary: $50,000–$62,853.73 per year

What you will do

  • Provide direct patient care, including measuring vital signs, pain screens, height, and weight.
  • Collect, label, and process patient specimens, and instruct patients and families on collection procedures.
  • Perform phlebotomy and EKGs as applicable and assist nursing and medical staff with clinical procedures.
  • Record findings accurately in electronic medical records and report abnormal results or changes in patient condition.
  • Transport patients, specimens, records, equipment, and supplies while supporting patient flow and wait-time communication.
  • Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, medical records, and the patient-care environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
  • Two years of equivalent experience in a medical setting required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and technical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team and in a busy setting with patients who have complex needs.
  • BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
  • Work is performed 100% onsite in Boston, Massachusetts.

Nice to have

  • Phlebotomy certification may be preferred for selected locations.
  • College coursework or enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s nursing program with at least two completed clinical rotations.
