Location: Lone Tree, Colorado, United States; onsite work in an office, lab, hangar, or offsite environment.

Salary: $108,496.89–$149,183.22 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and procedures.
  • Oversee system-level, subsystem, and component-level functional, performance, and environmental testing.
  • Analyze test data, identify root causes, document anomalies, and provide actionable recommendations in test reports.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to define test requirements and strategies.
  • Ensure test processes and equipment meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare content and lead internal and external meetings and technical briefings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or a related field; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • At least 6 years of experience in test engineering or a related role.
  • Advanced knowledge of test and evaluation principles, engineering practices, requirements management, system design, and systems integration.
  • Experience planning, conducting, and documenting Verification and Validation activities in multidisciplinary design and development teams.
  • Ability to read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and troubleshoot logically.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with testing equipment, standards, methodologies, and manual or automated testing.
  • Experience preparing complex test plans, procedures, and reports demonstrating compliance with system requirements.
  • Familiarity with product and quality assurance principles, non-conformance disposition, and safety risk management.
  • Experience with certification testing for organizations such as FAA, NASA, or DoD.
  • Experience testing according to MIL-STD-810, DO-160, or similar standards, ideally in the aerospace and defense industry.
