What you will do

• Develop and improve control processes, technologies, standards, and protocols across manufacturing control systems.
• Design, specify, program, and support HMI, PLC, DCS, instrumentation, and control equipment.
• Lead or participate in control projects implemented across multiple sites while coordinating with project and program managers.
• Investigate, test, and validate new instrumentation, programming, data-analysis, and process-control technologies.
• Provide senior-level troubleshooting and recovery direction to regional specialists, technicians, vendors, and management.
• Develop software upgrade programs, support DCS reliability, and create AI-driven models for process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in process controls engineering.
• Solid understanding of control-system architecture, programming, and industrial networks including Modbus, Fieldbus, and DeviceNet.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Emerson DeltaV, or equivalent control systems.
• Experience with batch and continuous chemical manufacturing processes, control documentation, standards, and procedures.
• Strong technical writing, organizational, communication, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with TwinThread or similar machine-analysis software.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems such as SAP PM.
