TL;DR
ERP & Production Planning Manager (ERP/manufacturing): Owning ERP strategy, master data, and production planning processes across facilities with an accent on scheduling logic, capacity management, and system accuracy. Focus on standardizing ERP-enabled workflows, leading schedulers and planners, and solving complex planning challenges with Operations and IT.

Location: Hybrid role based in Hartland, Wisconsin, United States; three days in the office and two days at home.

hirify.global is a growing packaging and automation company, with CL&D producing films, labels, sleeves, pouches, lidding, and thermoform solutions for consumer packaged goods companies.

What you will do

  • Own the ERP system as the super user for production planning, scheduling, capacity, and related operational modules.
  • Govern ERP master data, including routings, work centers, lead times, calendars, labor standards, and scheduling logic.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistent use of ERP-driven planning and scheduling processes.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning efficiency, visibility, scalability, and alignment across facilities.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, and leadership on ERP enhancements, upgrades, testing, training, and issue resolution.
  • Supervise schedulers and planners, monitor planning KPIs and dashboards, and provide backup scheduling and escalation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 7–10 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing, or supply chain.
  • At least 5 years of advanced ERP super-user or system ownership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • People leadership or supervisory experience, including coaching and accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity management, scheduling logic, and master data governance.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
