hirify.global is hiring for an operations planning role supporting a high-volume manufacturing operation.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for a high-volume operation with thousands of SKUs.
  • Balance customer demand, forecasts, inventory targets, production capacity, labor availability, and material constraints.
  • Sequence production orders to minimize changeovers, downtime, scrap, and other inefficiencies.
  • Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans in response to equipment issues, material shortages, labor constraints, and priority changes.
  • Release and manage work orders through ERP/MRP systems while maintaining accurate planning data.
  • Coordinate with Production, Customer Service, Sales, Procurement, and management on schedules, shortages, delivery expectations, and planning reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • 3–7 years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
  • Experience in a high-SKU manufacturing environment is required.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
  • Ability to analyze demand patterns, production performance, capacity utilization, inventory trends, and planning KPIs.

Nice to have

  • Experience serving retail, consumer products, packaging, filtration, food, household goods, or similar industries.
