Clinical Pharmacist - Hybrid - (Clinical Support & Development)

Location: Hybrid in the United States; candidates within 50 miles of a hirify.global Healthcare office must work in-office 3 days per week, with 2 days optionally from home. Chicago, IL, and other US locations will be considered.

Annual salary: $120,000–$200,000 USD, depending on experience and geographic location; eligible for an annual bonus plan.

What you will do

• Provide clinical expertise for the release and formulary placement of new-to-market medications.
• Support formulary strategy through clinical research focused on affordability and health outcomes.
• Develop and maintain drug lists aligned with product offerings and regulatory requirements.
• Research and report on pipeline medications, drug shortages, discontinuations, and changes to the National Preferred Formulary.
• Prepare summaries and audit files for the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and other quality oversight committees.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory mandates, RFP inquiries, and stakeholder questions about formulary design.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Active pharmacist license in any US state required.
• At least 2 years of experience in managed care, a health plan, a PBM organization, or formulary management.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based medicine, clinical literature interpretation, and standards of care.
• Experience supporting regulatory compliance, quality initiatives, or enterprise clinical programs.
• Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, adaptability, and accountability in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
