Quality Performance Clinical Pharmacist

Location: Remote role with 50% or more travel to provider offices and community pharmacies; candidates must reside in Brooklyn, Jamaica, or Queens

Salary: $107,700–$199,300 per year

What you will do

• Drive pharmacy performance and enterprise pharmacy quality initiatives across health plans.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmacy quality measures across Medicare, Medicaid, and Marketplace lines of business.
• Provide clinical and quality expertise to health plans, provider partners, and provider groups.
• Develop and present performance reviews addressing pharmacy quality across members, providers, provider groups, H-Contract, and states.
• Coordinate market and enterprise pharmacy measure initiatives and identify operational improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate communication, training, and understanding of enterprise pharmacy quality initiatives for internal provider-facing teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree, such as a PharmD or M.S., in pharmacy.
• At least 3 years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience, or at least 1 year of managed care pharmacy experience.
• Current, unrestricted registered pharmacist license in the applicable state upon hire.
• Residence in Brooklyn, Jamaica, or Queens is required.
• Ability to maintain a regular travel schedule of 50% or more within the assigned region.

Nice to have

• Clinical pharmacy experience in a managed healthcare environment.
• At least 3 years of managed care pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management experience.
