Project Manager - New Product Development

What you will do

• Lead New Product Development projects from concept approval through commercialization and product launch.
• Develop project charters, schedules, resource plans, risk assessments, communication plans, and project documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Business Line, and Sales.
• Facilitate Agile practices including sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coordinate design reviews, validation testing, prototype builds, pilot production runs, and launch readiness reviews.
• Report project status, risks, metrics, and resource constraints while driving accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, planning, time management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and/or SCRUM concepts and cross-functional project execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project or similar tools.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, engineering principles, or product development lifecycles.

Nice to have

• 3–5 years of project management experience in manufacturing, industrial, or product development environments.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, ERP, or PLM systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, FMEA, Design Reviews, and Stage-Gate processes.
• Experience in regulated or ISO-certified environments and familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, PED, or API requirements.
