Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Blue Ops, Valdosta, Georgia, United States; onsite work across office, manufacturing, and test areas is required.

What you will do

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, charters, milestone reviews, and signoffs.
• Coordinate engineering, marketing, business development, HR, IT, supply chain, executive, supplier, and internal partner activities.
• Manage projects from concept through production, product release, and end of product life, including new product development, automation, process development, capacity, and annual production planning.
• Maintain the Blue Ops Synchronized Business Planning process and align product, manufacturing, sales, and production plans.
• Support go-to-market planning, market research, competitive analysis, product reporting, budgeting, and product-line financial accountability.
• Drive continuous improvement, quality initiatives, cost efficiency, and enterprise-wide product and process change control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least five years of experience in a technical environment managing complex initiatives and multiple projects.
• Experience in both R&D and product sustainment activities, with strong critical thinking, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Expertise with ERP and materials management technologies, Microsoft solutions, and relationship-based supplier collaboration.
• Knowledge of marine, aerospace, military, or automotive industries and quality systems such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• ITAR/EAR-controlled work requires proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence and the candidate must not require sponsorship for export-restricted work authorization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Lean-ISO, OSHA, and other manufacturing management practices.
• Experience with defense products, DoD customers, or regulated production environments.
• Knowledge of ITAR/EAR export regulations, hazardous materials, and shipping documentation.
